Common problems and correct use of patch touch switch 6×6

1. The resistance value is too high: At present, many customers are not very familiar with the resistance value of the patch tact switch 6×6. Generally, the resistance value of our switch is controlled below 30m ohms, so the contact performance and life of the switch are both Very good, but some switches have high resistance after furnace temperature and life test. What effect will high resistance have on the patch touch switch 6×6? High resistance means that the contact area between the shrapnel of the switch and the PIN pin is too small, and the small contact area will cause the switch to not touch. Once it does not touch the switch, it will be bad.


Therefore, everyone should be cautious about the resistance of the switch. The shrapnel and PIN pin have relatively high requirements for electroplating, and the resistance value will be lower if the electroplating is good. After the switch has passed the life test, the surface of the shrapnel will be worn out. If the plating is thin, the resistance value will be high and the switch will be defective.


2. Adhesion: Ultra-thin patch tact switches 6×6 are generally called membrane switches. Thin switches require film cooperation, so that they can be truly thin. However, many films have poor temperature resistance and will fall off after the furnace is over. The adhesion that our professional term refers to is actually the viscosity of the film. Imported PI film controls this very well. Its adhesion is 400g, which is very suitable for switch use. If it is too light, it will often fall off. If it is too heavy, the switch will press Do not move, many manufacturers choose domestic cheap PI film in order to save costs, the switch is very prone to adhesion problems, it is recommended that you ask the manufacturer before buying.


The same is true for the dotted patch tact switch 6×6. If you use imported rubber, the dots are not easy to fall off. If you use domestic products, then your problem will come. You get what you pay for. I suggest you choose a manufacturer with high quality requirements, and choose a satisfactory manufacturer for yourself.


3. Can't press after the furnace: a good switch, after reflow soldering experience, it can't be pressed, it's very pitiful. Many customers are also responding to this problem, so what caused it? The patch switch is closely attached to the PCB, and the PIN pin will be solder paste. If the stencil hole is slightly larger, the solder paste will easily flow into the switch. If there are foreign objects inside the switch, it will definitely affect its stroke. The most common one is not to press. Another situation is that the sealing performance of the switch is not good, and the flux flows into the inside of the switch, which causes the problem.


Therefore, it is recommended that our customers pay attention to this problem during the production process. In particular, our side button patch touch switch 6×6 is the most frequently encountered this situation. Sometimes it is difficult to explain to customers. Some experienced factories will eliminate this problem very well.


Fourth, the cover falls off: During the production process, there will be leakage of the cover of the switch when the customer responds. Why did the cover of the good switch fall off? First of all, we must first understand the structure of the switch. The cover of the switch is covered on the back. This is a production process that has not changed for thousands of years.


People familiar with it will find that the cover is fixed by the four riveting points on the base, so as long as the four riveting points are loose or the riveting points shrink or deform after high temperature, the cover will fall off. To prevent the cover, only pay attention to the following two problems. One base should be made of temperature-resistant materials, and the two riveting points should be riveted and fixed. If the above two problems are done, this problem will be solved perfectly.


V. Feel: Many customers have been responding. The samples sent by many suppliers have very good feel, but the feel is different when it comes to mass production. In fact, this problem is very common. We all know that the feel of the switch and the force of the button are controlled by the shrapnel. We often say that shrapnel is divided into phosphor bronze shrapnel and stainless steel shrapnel. At present, many manufacturers choose phosphor bronze shrapnel in order to save costs. Phosphor bronze shrapnel is more cost-effective, which is why it is widely used. However, the phosphor-copper shrapnel will change after the furnace temperature, and the shrinkage will be more serious, which will lead to a bad hand feeling.


The use of stainless steel shrapnel does not have this problem, but the cost of stainless steel shrapnel is relatively high, which leads many manufacturers to take risks and choose phosphor bronze shrapnel. Therefore, you must ask clearly when buying patch touch switch 6×6. Problem.


Sixth, light press does not conduct: Many consumers often find that when the product is used, the button will not respond when the button is pressed. It takes a lot of force to press, and the product has a functional response. Because our switches are used when exposed to the air, many finished products are not hermetically sealed, and consumer electronic products require heat dissipation. In humid weather, the shrapnel of the switch is easily oxidized, and the contact performance after oxidation is not as good as before, that is, there is a problem of light pressing and non-conduction.


Many consumers also disassembled the switch and found that there is a small black spot on the shrapnel. This small black spot is the effect of oxidation of the shrapnel. Therefore, it is recommended that the electronic products that we do not usually use should be placed in a relatively dry place, and the prepaid electronic parts are oxidized.
